Friends and Visionaries,

What an adventure this has been. We're sorry to say that The Sheldon Cooperative is on indefinite hold, but not for lack of interest! After filling our membership and securing funding, we were unable to find an appropriate site. Our primary goal was to build a strong and thoughtful community of progressively thinking people. We have accomplished that, and seen many other successes along the way.

However, The Sheldon Cooperative will NOT be built as described on this web site. We leave this site up to share the vision of a great idea...perhaps we've built a stepping stone for others.

If you are still interested to learn about any follow up, we will send you occasional Updates. If not, tell us to remove you name from the membership list.  Several Sheldon members are planning to make another try to get Legacy and Good Sam Hospital to consider a partnership focusing on the growing needs of seniors.

Thank you for believing in the goals of The Sheldon Cooperative, and to everyone who has put time, money, and heart into trying to attain them.
